If you are a Christian, you are living in your Father’s world.
Imagine you’re a child in your father’s house. You are happy in his care, maybe in the living room playing with your favorite toy, maybe reading a book at the kitchen table and eating a snack. You are safe. Content. At home.
Do you worry at that moment about whether the local bully thinks you should be playing with that toy or reading that book? Should it bother you if a doctor in town somewhere says the snack your father gave you isn’t an ideal snack for a kid your age? No. It’s your father’s home, and you are his son. You are under his care. His love.
The analogy is not a complete 1:1, because obviously our Father has allowed unrepentant sinners to live in and even have authority in His world. But the main thrust of it is, I believe, very true. Christian: This is our God’s world, and He has lovingly decreed that we will inherit it. If you have trusted in Christ alone, you have been adopted into the family that will inherit creation. The world’s appraisal of you should not make you fret. It hated Him, and it will almost certainly at some point hate you. Yes this world can bruise us and mock us, but despite all its jagged edges and hostile elements, this it is His. It is your Abba’s, your Father’s.
Rest is easier in the fact.

“Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life!” 1 Corinthians 6:2-3
